Two talented German photographers residing back then in Leipzig took pictures of the city Leibzig and it’s inhabitants, from 1946, shortly after World War II had ended, all the way to 1989, when the wall came down and Germany was reunited. Fascinating Photography, starting out with the damages of World War II and how people survived. Then a sense of normalcy is starting to come in again, but people still look rather poor. And so it goes through the historical period of 1946 to 1989. A unique and fascinating book. All text is in German. But most pictures only have a one line subtitle. The book measures 11″ x 10″, and it is 3/4 of an inch thick
