ORIGINAL DIANE ARBUS PRINT GIFT TO CIRCUS SWORD SWALLOWER & SISTER + ARBUS BOOK
The photograph was given to the albino sword swallower (Sandra Reed) pictured on the left and her sister (Doreen) on the right. The image was captured a carnival in Maryland during 1970. Although the image does have chemical staining and debris stuck to the print, this is a wonderful image also demonstrates the artist’s working process.
