Antonio Beato British Italian Artist Albumen Print Photographs Egyptian Temple A

A beautiful lot of three (3) antique albumen print photographs by Antonio Beato (British/Italian, 1835-1906). Architectural sites in the Ancient World, all images of Egyptian temple ruins, appear to include the Temple of Kom Ombo, Ramesseum, and Temple of Denderah, circa 1870s. Each mounted to card, unframed. Photos measure approx. 8″h x 10.25″l, cards approx. 11″-12″h x 15.5″l. Display trimmed edges and signs of age, including general foxing, creases, tears, and marks to the photographs, and some edge wear with discoloration and bumps to the cards – see pictures. All signed «A. Beato.» The Collection of Ileana Sonnabend, thence by descent.
