Interesting, stark vintage photograph on board by Maine photographer Kosti Ruohomaa. Measures 12” x 18”. Studio stamp “STUDIO ONE / #355 / Photographer / Kosti Ruohomaa” on back. Right corners are bumped (primarily lower right) but overall condition is very good. Ruohomaa (1914 – 1961) was known internationally for his stark photographs. His friend and fellow Maine artist Andrew Wyeth, called him Maine’s best photographer and they often worked together in the 1950’s.
