Walcott was an American paleontologist and administrator of the Smithsonian Institution for 20 years, from 1907 to 1927. He took this photograph in 1912 when he visited the Mount Robson region to study the geology and fossils of the Cambrian period. Condition: This original fold-out is in very good condition. bright and clean, with no rips or tears. It folds to approximately 6½» x 9¼», as issued. A previous owner has written «Mt.
