VTG Framed Prints Cupid Awake & Cupid Asleep MB Parkinson 1897 Wood Glass Frame
Vintage framed set of prints of a small child as cupid in a wood and glass frame. Titled «Cupid Asleep» and «Cupid Awake», the original photos were taken by New York photographer Morris Burke (M.B.) Parkinson in 1897. Prints were popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. On this item, the ribbed dark wood frame is a lovely compliment to the sepia toned photos. Very good pre-owned condition with normal wear. The back may have had a paper covering originally that is no longer intact. Measures appx. 8 3/4″ wide by 6″ high. Wire on back for hanging.
