These are part of his Doorways collection. I was told most of his photographs were taken in either Vermont or Cape Cod, but he lived in Boston, and I think possibly taken there. L. Whitney Standish was a Boston architect, active as a pictorialist, teacher, and salon judge, from the mid-1930s to early 1950s.
