Philip Lieberman 1995 Indian Himalayan Young Monk In Prayer B&W Photograph
Philip Lieberman, Rhode Island, United States (1934-2022) A fine black and white silver gelatin print photograph of young man in prayer. It is matted in white in a simple black metal frame. Photograph is from his time in Ladakh-Indian Himalaya, it is titled «Young Monk in Prayer-Hall of Gompa» and is dated 1995. It is signed lower right «Lieberman». The back retains original reference label from gallery. Lieberman initially studied electrical engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He received his doctorate in linguistics from MIT, completing his dissertation in 1966.
