African American Woman Antique Convex Oval Portrait Charcoal-Enhanced Photograph
~ Large charcoal-enhanced photo of an African-American woman from near the turn of the century, in an ornate plaster-over wood frame and oval, convex glass. ~ From the estate sale of a collector of several hundred of these convex oval portraits – I thought this was one of the most striking. ~ The frame measures 14″ x 21″. The inner dimensions of the visible photo are 10″ x 17″. ~ The photo is mounted flat behind the convex glass.
