1902 K. von Rozynski German Art Cabinet Card Galerie Moderne «Ungeduld» Antique

Artist: Kurt von Rozynski (1864–1940) was a noted German genre painter and illustrator. The romantic German poem on the front of the card is the first stanza of «Ungeduld» (translation: «Impatience»), by Wilhelm Müeller, written in 1817 and famously set to music by Franz Schubert in in his 1823 song cycle Die Schone Müllerin.
