The title “The Coming Out of Rosa” is written in ink inside the plate mark below the lower left half of the photograph. This is not Wallace Nutting’s actual signature; a number of the colorists wrote both the titles and Wallace Nutting on the original mats, hence the wide variety in appearance of the Wallace Nutting “signatures”.
