This is a picture of an old switch engine which was abandoned next to a swamp, located in Lacombe, La. It was Built on 29 August 1942 as U.S. Army 7953, this little loco was one of only 11 Model 40 diesel-electric switchers built by the Electro-Motive Corporation and its successor, the Elecro-Motive Division of General Motors.

This is a picture of an old rusty and beached tug boat on Bayou Bonfouca, just outside of New Orleans, La. It sat in this place for many years prior to hurricane Katrina I managed to get a few shots of it over the years. It was deconstructed and sold for scrap after the hurricane.
