In the center stands the pharaoh Mykerinos. He has his left leg forward (walking attitude), wears the white crown of Upper Egypt (thehedjet), the fake beard and a pleated loincloth (the chendjit). To his right (left in the image) is the goddess Hathor, recognizable by her headdress made of cow horns enclosing the solar disk. She holds his hand. The photograph, in black and white, shows a huge Egyptian stone statue seen in profile (turned to the left) inside a museum room. It is a pharaoh represented standing, in the classic attitude of walking with the left leg forward. He is wearing the double crown of Egypt (the Pschent) placed on the nemes, and wears a fake beard as well as a short pleated loincloth (chendjit). His arms are extended alongside his body and he holds a cylindrical object in his fist. Royal cartridges are engraved on the side face of the base, under its feet. Although I cannot identify the ruler with certainty, this monumental style is very characteristic of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom (like Ramesses II or Merenptah). In the background, we see an exhibition window, a wooden bench and other steles leaning again.
