The family moved to Beirut in 1867 where they opened a photographic studio called «Maison Bonfils».Maison Bonfils produced thousands of photographs of the Middle East. His work became well known because the tourists who travelled to those countries bought Bonfil’s photos as souvenirs. The photograph catches the light shining through IM Pei’s glass pyramid beautifully. It dates from about 1996 or 1997 from a winter trip we made to Firenze. It is the original wrapping, have never been opened, and were stored away out of the light ever since we it back from Paris. I will add a natural wooden frame, with no-reflective glass. The frames have stands, so you can display the photos on a wall or on a flat surface. The Images are 5×7. The mats and frames are 8×10.
