1953 Roman Piazza by Henri Cartier Bresson Produced by Life Magazine – 10 Prints

Rare 1953 10 print set of the Roman Piazza by Henri Cartier-Brisson. This collection was produced by Life to display the camera work of the famous photographer Cartier-Brisson, who pioneered the art of street photography. These prints are from his essay “Everything goes on in the Piazza”. The portfolio measures 14”x10.5”. The 10 prints are approximately 13”x10”. The prints are watermarked «Hamilton Andorra.» The pictures are in good condition with some yellowing and rounding on the edges. There are no creases, bends, or tears but some wrinkling on the paper surrounding the photographs. The portfolio jacket’s spine has some damage from wear. Please refer to the photos for details.
