School of Painting 1905 Brussels Old Photography, G.Naroisse
Superb old photograph (1905) representing all the students of the Brussels school of painters, in their workshop. A title block under the photo specifies what it represents (see photo). The photo is pasted on a rigid cardboard (slightly yellowed with some traces), on the back of it there is a stamp specifying: “photograph of the time – G. Narcisse -12 rue de l’entreprises – Brussels”. Photo format: 29×22.5cm and overall format: 42x36cm. General condition: tear in the bottom left corner and tear in the top left (see photos), some scratches in the photo. The photo is slightly detached from its cardboard support on the left.
