Philip Lieberman 1999 Tibet Nomad Grandmother & Grandchild B&W Photograph
Philip Lieberman, Rhode Island, United States (1934-2022) A fine black and white silver gelatin print photograph of nomad grandmother and grandchild. It is matted in white in a simple off-white metal frame. Photograph is from his time in Tibet- Changtang Plateau, it is titled «Nomad Grandmoth & Grandchild» and is dated 1999. It is signed lower right «Lieberman». The back retains original reference label from gallery. Lieberman initially studied electrical engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He received his doctorate in linguistics from MIT, completing his dissertation in 1966.
